Job Description Engineer: Windows 7, XP, MSI Packaging, FlexeraS Admin Studio, IBM BigFix Software Microsoft SCCM Testi

Targeted Skills & Competencies: - Highly proficient in creating silent installation packages for Windows 7 & XP using Wise Package Studio Professional 8.x and Flexera Adminstudio 11.x - Proven experience in virtualizing application for use on Windows 7 and XP using VMware Thinapp. - Experience with supporting enterprise migration effort from Windows XP 32-bit to Windows 7 64-bit. - Interaction with various end-users, IT departments and vendors to define and document application requirements and configurations. - Proven experience with SCCM 2012.
Expected Responsibilities: - Working directly with internal customers and application owners to document application requirements, configurations settings and installation instructions. - Creating, testing, and debugging 32/64 bit silent installation packages (MSI, MST, and EXE) on Windows 7 and XP with Wise Package Studio and Flexera Admin Studio. - Virtualize applications using VMware Thinapp - Creating, testing and debugging fixlets in Bigfix/IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager (TEM) and Microsoft SCCM. - Documenting processes, procedures, and technical issues

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience Must Have: o Extensive experience creating, testing and debugging silent installations (MSI, MST, and Exe) using Wise Package Studio Professional 8.x and Flexera Admin Studio 11.x o Extensive knowledge of Wise script. o Experience using VMware Workstation o Extensive knowledge of Win7 and Win XP operating systems o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Nice to Have: o Experience with Tivoli Endpoint Manger (TEM) or Bigfix Relevance language; Web Reports; and Fixlet creation, testing, debugging and deployment. o Extensive experience creating, testing and debugging virtualized applications using VMware Thinapp 4.x. o Experience with Microsoft SCCM o Experience with financial applications o MCSE or equivalent o Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization (MED-V)
