Job Description Developer: Oracle 11g, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Data Analysis Software Development Tools

Description :
* Develop decision support applications and integrate them with our data tier under direction of the Director of development
* Possess full knowledge of the system development lifecycle.
* Be a go to subject matter expert for the clients decision support systems and data tier
* Perform design, development, implementation, maintenance, and level 4 support of decision support applications.
* Develop, test, and document systems in accordance with SOPs, standards and validation procedures.
* Have experience with source code control, build automation, and deployment automation.
* Plan and coordinate peer review of work products such as code, designs, and test plans produced by other team members.
* Interact with corporate and project team members to negotiate timelines, responsibilities, and deliverables.
* Meets personal and professional milestones as assigned, and interacts with the project team to organize timelines, responsibilities and deliverables.
* Performs other duties as directed.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelors Degree in computer science or related field with a minimum 4-6 years relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
* Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
* Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers.
* Regular sitting for extended periods of time.

REQUIRED SKILLS :
* A motivated self-starter with a track record producing positive results.
* Using Spotfire Professional to create data visualizations with advanced features such as drill-downs, custom expressions and loading data on demand.
* Using Spotfire Information Designer to develop information models and information links.
* Hands on experience with Oracle 11g Database, PL/SQL to build stored procedures, views and queries to support decision support applications and reporting environments.
* Optimizing SQL queries for high performance and scalability using explain plans and PL/SQL profiles.
* Demonstrated data analysis and design skills.
* Experience working with a global engineering team.
* Possess an expert knowledge in software development tools, practices, and lifecycle methodologies.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

DESIRED SKILLS :
* Knowledge of clinical data used for clinical drug development.
* Experience with the clinical drug development industry, procedures, and regulatory standards.
* Knowledge of CDISC ODM, SDTM, CDASH or ADAM standards.
* Additional proficiency in application development languages like C#.NET or Java a plus.
