The selected candidate will work under the direction of the clients Project Lead and in concert with additional Business Analysts in the performance of the work. Responsibilities: * Providing advice on performing the SS-A using the MITA 3.0 framework * Facilitating documentation of the States future goals for the Medicaid Enterprise * Evaluating the maturity of the States Medicaid processes * Document supporting evidence * Completion of SS-A scorecards. * Provide assistance determining the States future goals for MITA * Lead meetings with (NCDHHS) Divisions * Evaluation of the States ?To-Be? processes using the MITA 3.0 maturity levels * Conduct gap analyses of the As-Is operations and To-Be environments to identify appropriate actions needed to reach target maturity levels * Develop documentation for compliance with the Seven Standards and Conditions ? Perform crosswalks to evaluate the State Business Process Models (BPM) alignment with or deviation from the CMS-defined MITA BPM. Required Skills: * Demonstrated leadership skills * Strong organizational skills * Strong teamwork and communication skills and the ability to work successfully with all levels of resources within DHHS to achieve positive outcomes * Strong problem solving skills * Ability to successfully multi-task * State and/or Federal government experience. Desired Skills: * Extensive experience in State/Federal Medicaid Programs and MMIS * Recent experience performing MITA SS-As * Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of CMS MITA Framework 3.0 and the associated Business Process Models and Business Capabilities Matrices * Working knowledge of the MITA for the Medicaid Enterprise * Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related degree * Previous MITA State Self-Assessment experience   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
