This includes the responsibility to matrix manage the work of other project team members and for managing team activities. * Candidate needs to be well versed in software and database development on relevant platforms. Which involves technology disciplines (i.e. hardware, software, applications/database development, network infrastructure etc.). * Position is held accountable to inform IT executives, business sponsors, department heads and agency/ university administrators of IT project deliverable statuses to ensure the projects success. * Person will managed the project management tool updates along with participating in delivery of all required project management gate documents. * Person is responsible for building project plan to work breakdown structure (WBS) level with team participation. Required Skills: * Work requires knowledge of project management plans, documentation, including communication, change, procurement and risks. * Demonstrate ability to lead small to medium size, complex project within information technology arena involving multiple staff across functional areas that impact .. patient care. * Must be well versed in IT, database/application development and reporting. * Must be able to identify gaps, development of workarounds, budget changes/impacts and identification of technical limitations/risks. * Must be able to provide consultation to the project team, sponsors and other stakeholders on the strategies for moving projects forward. * Ability to recognize misconceptions of deliverables. * Position must be able to develop a working knowledge of a clients business and strategic objectives * Ability to understand the agency and government procedures that may impact projects. * Minimum of three (3) years software/database development. * Must have excellent analytical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills Desired Skills: * PMP Certification a plus * Prefer persons with experience in database structures and reporting. * Technical programming or database development background * Information Technology Project Management background * Project Management document deliverable background * Flexible and ability to adapt to changing timelines and project scopes   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
