Once all staff return to site the candidate will be required to work onsite full time. ***The candidate will be required to be onsite for the first three weeks for training. NC DIT and the NC HIEA have significant responsibility to operate the states health information exchange network, NC HealthConnex, in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other state and federal laws and regulations. An additional contracted resource is needed to help develop, implement, and further mature the NC HIEAs internal compliance processes. Additional experience and expertise from a contracted resource regarding organizational and data security controls over electronic Protected Health Information will better position the Department and the NC HIEA to make progress toward fulfilling HITRUST CSF and NIST 800-53 risk management frameworks.
