IT Management Status Reporting Analyst (Jobs in Bismark, ND)   Requirement id 114414 Job title Analyst Job location in Bismark, ND Skills required Test Planning, Software Development Lifecycle, Test Cases And Scenarios, IT Management Status Reporting Open Date 25-Feb-2021 Close Date Job type Contract Duration 21 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type ---    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Analyst: Test Planning, Software Development Lifecycle, Test Cases And Scenarios, IT Management Status Reporting start date:03/22/2021 End date:12/31/2022 submission deadline:3/3/2021 Description: Expected work efforts to include the following: • Create test plans and provide input into the release schedule tasks, deliverables, and milestones • Create time/cost estimates based on requirements and work efforts required for the test phases of the software development life cycle • Participate in analysis and design activities to gain an understanding of business and system requirements and design specifications • Create test scenarios and test cases meeting acceptance criteria for the requirements and design of the system • Conduct review sessions with project staff and peers to ensure accuracy and understanding of test artifact design • Coordinate closely with IT management, team members, and other State Agency personnel, as needed, to ensure proper testing of program and system specifications • Script and execute automated tests if applicable for the project • Maintain traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and test cases • Identify or prepare test data needed for test execution • Establish test environment requirements and coordinate the build of test environments • Execute test cases and document test results in the projects test case management tool • Record defects in the projects defect management tool and communicate defects to the development team • Retest as necessary following defect resolution to verify defects have been resolved and close defects after resolution • Oversee the test case management and defect management processes (identification, fixing, re-testing and migration of defects) are functioning correctly • Assist with test related issues and risks • Access impact of change requests on testing tasks, deliverables, and milestones • Provide status reports for testing activities • Facilitate assessment meetings to gather feedback on strengths and weaknesses of the testing processes for continual process improvement   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
