Job Description Analyst: Business Process Regineering, Business Systems Analyst, Workflow Developement, Test Scripts Test Cases MS Word MS Excel

Description:

Under general direction, gather, define and document highly complex business requirements. Facilitate meeting discussions between business users, business analysts and technical analysts. Document organizational policies and procedures in the context of system requirements. Work with technical staff and business users to problem-solve and identify workable solutions. Develop workflows that demonstrate current and proposed business requirements. Prioritize the individual work load that involves multiple project assignments and deadlines. Create and execute test cases, test scripts, data sets and user procedures. Ensure testing results correspond to the Business and Functional Requirements. Work with team leads, technical staff and key users to identify, track and manage project issues as they arise. Answer questions and inquiries about system functionality. Provide user support, including training, help and instructions

Required Skills:

1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration or seven (7) years experience in business process re-engineering as a Business Systems Analyst Senior.

2. Must have two (2) or more years experience in aspects of medical claims processing, medical claims adjudication and medical terminology.

3. Must have seven (7) or more years experience in working with business clients and technical staff to develop business requirements for computer application modifications.

4. Must have seven (7) or more years experience writing Business System and Process Change Documents including Business Requirements Documents, General System Design and Training Documents.

5. Must have seven (7) or more years experience developing workflows that demonstrate current and proposed business requirements in the context of system requirements.

6. Must have seven (7) or more years experience working independently within guidelines, developing and executing test scripts, test cases, data sets and user procedures.

7. Proficiency in speaking and writing in the English language is required.

8. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and provide information effectively, regardless of audience.

9. Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaborative skills. Must be service oriented with strong interpersonal skills with all levels of business and technical staff.

10.Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

11.Must be competent in overall PC skills including the use of Microsoft Office products (e.g., Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Access, etc.).

12.Strong organization, planning, problem solving, and decision making skills. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet required deadlines.

13.Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Must be able to quickly learn and apply new technology.

Desired Skills:

1. Experience in an operational role at a Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance company is highly desirable.

2. Experience working as part of a large (40+) development team using structured procedures and guidelines.

3. Working knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft SharePoint.

4. Experience as a Business Systems Senior Analyst working with ICD-10 is highly desirable.
