This position is unique to other business analyst positions in that the requirements include that the selected person be capable of working with our clients and being a business requirements gatherer, able to work with the vendor software to set requirements and parameters, able to solve client needs using Crystal Reports, act as a Help Desk to field calls from clients on the vendor software, test the vendor software when new developments or product upgrades are released, and on occasion be a trainer to train clients in using new functions and in-house developed features of the vendor software. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting the four Veterans Homes facilities, but will also work with the other four 24-Hour facilities. Required: ? Bachelors degree in Business Administration or 4 years experience in business process re-engineering as a Business Systems Senior Analyst. ? Must have four– (4) or more years experience in working with business clients and technical staff to develop business requirements for computer application modifications. ? Must have four- (4) or more years experience writing Business System and Process Change Documents including Business Requirements Documents, General System Design and Training Documents. ? Must have four– (4) or more years experience working independently within guidelines, developing and executing test scripts, test cases, data sets and user procedures. ? Proficiency in speaking and writing in the English language is required. ? Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and provide information effectively, regardless of audience. ? Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaborative skills. Must be service oriented with strong interpersonal skills with all levels of business and technical staff. ? Must have good overall PC skills including the use of Microsoft Office products ? Experience level with Microsoft Word and Excel must be at an intermediate level or higher ? Strong organization, planning, problem solving, and decision making skills. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet required deadlines. ? Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Must be able to quickly learn and apply new technology. Preferred: ? Two– (2) or more years experience as a Business Systems Senior Analyst working with AVATAR Practice Management, Client Funds Management and/or Clinician software. ? Experience working as part of a development team using structured procedures and guidelines. ?
