Job Description Administrator: Interpersonal Skills, HP ITSM, System Administration Experience, Documentation CMDB Change Management Req

Our client is looking for an ITSM Tools Administrator. This position will work closely with the ITSM Tool Lead in the implementation and roll out of the IT Service Management Tool strategy. This individual will work closely with the ITSM workstream leads gathering requirements and assist in architecting viable solutions for integrating the Service Management process functionality. The Tools Administrator will assist in the collection and reporting of tool performance metrics with an eye for improving process flows and tool performance where applicable.

Responsibilities:
Perform configurations and customizations of ITSM processes (CMDB, Service Catalog, Incident, Service Level and Change Management); Maintain the integrity of data & its relationships in production & non-production environments.

Participate in requirements gathering with process design teams & perform analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of new process workflow.


Train & coach tool management staff including positioning of career development and provide mentor support.

Requirements:
- Strong experience with HP ITSM products (specifically: Asset Manager and Universal Discovery)
Hands-on experience with the implementation, configuration and use of one or more leading IT Service Management tools, including ITSM process design, implementation, operation and/or improvement. (ServiceNow, CA, BMC, HP, or Tivoli) - Certifications are a plus.
Perform top-level administration of ITSM tool and be the primary contact for both end-users and other administrators.
Hands on experience in Service Center implementations, customization, tailoring, integrations and systems upgrades.
Provide system administration and support in identifying and resolving various technical issues.
Maintain the integrity of the tool(s) across production and non-production environments
Coordinate the installation of vendor-provided updates and new releases.
Effective oral and written communication skills in order to coordinate communications, preparations and training activities
Assist with software upgrades and maintenance upgrades on software related to ITSM tools in production and test environments.
Create and update ITSM tool system documentation.
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior Banking/Financial industry experience a big plus.
