The primary focus is to provide UNIX project and 24/7 service continuity support for the back-office settlement and reporting production applications. Responsibilities include: * Provide 24x7 support of production applications on a rotating basis. * Assist day-to-day processes involving: * Hands on knowledge of UNIX * Knowledge of SFTP * Batch job scheduling * Perl/Shell scripts * NDM, PGP, FTP, NcfTpd monitoring * Oracle SQL queries * Participation in SEVerity (crisis analysis) * Resolving outstanding/assigned tickets * Escalation point for customer support to diagnose and resolve complex customer issues. * Review turnover paperwork to ensure that it is complete prior to executing production installs * Actively participate in the requirements gathering process representing the production environment, to ensure that all aspects of the operational environment are identified and documented. * Provide all tasks and detailed estimates to project managers, review and approve design documentation to ensure an understanding of business logic changes and technical solution being implemented as wells as the creation of installation and monitoring plans. * Develop and maintain IT documentation Qualification and Experience: * Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, or equivalent. * 4 years of IT experience with background in application development, quality assurance or equivalent technical production support experience (Required). * Minimum of 4 years in support of a transaction processing Internet application or Internet Banking (Required). * Minimum of 4 years incident management experience. * Minimum of 4 years client/customer management experience. * Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) production support best practices (Preferred).   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
