Job Description :

Facets Consultant at UnitedHealth Group, 12 months contract to hire

PROJECT: Migration of business from legacy platform to Facets. Role responsible for Facets Software Development and Design focused on core services and claims admin services that will enable us to operationalize and scale a national operating model supporting multiple Care Delivery Organizations (CDOs).

IDEAL BACKGROUND: Full stack developer with experience in C#, SQL Development (MS SQL Server), and Cognizant Facets (Data Model, Batch Jobs, and ETL).

TOP REQUIREMENTS: Facets, SQL, C#.

Responsibilities:

· Use best practices and experience to design, code, build, and test software solutions

· Determine best technical solutions and document detailed design based on requirements.

· Lead application build team for selected projects

· Solid organizational skills and focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

· Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities

· Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment

· Providing accurate and timely estimates for tasks

· Provide support and leadership in critical production support issue resolution. Role will be final escalation point for supporting application and performing root cause analysis.

· Support the team for application availability, reliability and stability on a 7 by 24 by 365 basis

· Conduct or facilitate root cause analysis on all in-scope incidents and recommend a corrective action plan

· Lead team efforts to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements

· Conduct code review to ensure the work delivered by the team is of high quality standards

· Mentor other developers on coding standards, problem solving, and application architecture

Required Qualifications:

· 5+ years of Cognizant Facets application experience including data model knowlege

· 5+ years of development and testing experience in C# / .Net programming language

· 5+ years of experience working with Sybase or/and SQL Database

· 5+ years of Senior level Applications Developer experience

· 5+ years of SDLC experience

· 5+ years Database Design/Programming (Stored Procedures)

· Bachelors degree
