Responsibilities

We have a 24-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Java Programmer, Mid-level

Create online services in Java to aid the OP Modernization Programs multiple projects that are migrating from a mainframe system to an Oracle database.

Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:

· The candidate will work alongside the current development team to define technical requirements and approach to implement online services that are being rewritten in Java and related Web technologies.

· The work will involve participation in Scrum meetings to define project work and identify quality assurance testing for all development components.

· The programmer will assist with extending existing RESTful services for data transmission and user authentication in newly developed user interfaces and backend system.

Mandatory Qualifications:

· Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.

· 36-60 months-candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 60 months of experience developing front-end and back-end Web applications in Java

· 60 months of experience building applications with the Spring Framework

· 48 months of experience developing technical architecture within a Service Oriented Architecture

· 48 months experience developing RESTful services

· 36 months experience developing responsive websites

· Bachelors degree

Must have

English
Native or bilingual proficiency
