We have a 30-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Senior Oracle Database Administrator Oracle DBA support for NYSIFs modernized Insurance and Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence applications Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Support Oracle 19c and 12c Grid infrastructure and RAC Multitenant databases using Oracle 13c Enterprise Manager. Assist with virtualization of Oracle RAC effort to open door for hardware consolidation to cost saving on Oracle support and licensing cost. Assist Oracle application development teams with application troubleshooting, SQL tuning and SQL restructuring for performance enhancement etc. Automate database operations using Linux scripts, ANSIBLE playbooks and OEM jobs. Administer Delphix virtualization and masking engines and customize virtual database provisioning using hook scripts. Assist in designing new and redesigning of old data marts in Oracle data warehouse environment and troubleshoot loading and business reporting related performance issues. Assist with secure orchestration and lockdown of NSX environments as a live copy of all core production systems. Assist development teams with partitioning of large database tables for overall database performance improvement and data life cycle purposes. Research and assist with supporting new ITS initiatives which include integration of cloud-based solutions such as Salesforce CRM. Day to day administration of Oracle and MSSQL databases in all environments including installation, patching and upgrade of these databases. Mandatory Qualifications: Uses specialized software to store and organize data, which may include capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, and troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery. 60 - 84 months-Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Preferred Qualifications: 72 months of experience with supporting Oracle 19c and 12c Grid infrastructure and RAC Multitenant databases using Oracle 13c Enterprise Manager. 72 months of experience with supporting Oracle application development teams with troubleshooting application and SQL performance issues, application design/re-design and SQL restructuring etc. 72 months of experience supporting Oracle Data warehouse operations like ETL, Data mart design/re-design 72 months of experience with automating database operations using Linux scripts, ANSIBLE playbooks and OEM jobs. 36 months of experience with managing Microsoft MSSQL 36 months experience with VMWare for orchestration and lockdown of NSX environments 36 months of experience with Delphix virtualization and masking 36 months of experience with database administration for oracle e-business suite Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Oracle 19c Database Administrator Certified Professional Languages Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency Additional vendor information Candidates need to meet 60% of the Preferred Qualifications to qualify for the position.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
