This position is part of the team responsible for modernization of legacy systems and development of new tax programs Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Development of tax processing system components Maintenance of existing processing systems Defect monitoring and resolution Coordination with development team on development activities and integration testing Creating system documentation Mandatory Qualifications: Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software. 84 + Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: 84 months experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML. 84 months experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBMs Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to Web sphere Application Server (WAS). 84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation). 18 months experience with a Government Taxation organization, which includes business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex Tax Return processing. 60 months experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases. 60 months of experience in IBM MQSeries 60 months experience with an organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex system.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
