Are you Tech Terrific, an innovative thinker, and have great interpersonal skills? We have a 24-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Project Manager, Expert Design, develop and implement a new software application to assist shelters in streamlining their application, certification, inspection, and corrective action processes. The application will house facility information, templates, auto-populate reports, track approvals and send reminders to inspectors and various agency staff on status of items. Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to: Work with customer to define, clarify and manage project scope. Develop the project plan and schedule. Develop and implement a formal risk mitigation plan – actively performs risk analysis and mitigation. Develop procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives. Guide Team direction. Coordinate activities across different organizational functions. Independently conducts requirements gathering sessions. Analyzes interdependencies among scope requirements. Actively manage the integration of project processes including impact analysis resulting from changes in project scope, budget, or schedule. Motivate team members. Assign work to team members and follow-up on project action items to insure tasks and schedule is on target. Define project baselines. Track project progress and provide project status reports. Continuously monitor project and take corrective actions, as necessary. Interacts with high-level stakeholders including senior agency managers. Develops and implements project management processes and policies. Mentors state staff on project management methods and practices. The position may oversee other unit projects. Mandatory Qualifications: Plans, organizes, and integrates cross-functional information technology projects that are significant in scope and impact. 84+ months Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. Preferred Qualifications: Current Project Management Professional Certification Current CRM Dynamics/Salesforce Administrator Certification At least one Lean/Six-sigma Certified Process Improvement experience (Certification needed) 84 Months of Experience as a Sr. Project Manager, managing multiple projects execution and control, including budgets, schedules, direction for design and development activities and communication with all stakeholders. 84 Months of Experience leading requirements gathering sessions, developing, and maintaining various project management plans, coordinating issue resolution and application users access management. 84 Months of Experience in creating and managing project deliverables using Project Management tools such as Service Now, TFS, MS Project. 72 Months of Experience in State & City Departments applications integration projects. 72 Months of Experience in Program Management in State-level projects interacting with C-suite stakeholders and PMO. 24 months working within technology projects related to homeless shelters.
