Job Description Developer: SharePoint Development, ASP.Net, OO Development, SQL Server DataBase

As a SharePoint developer we are looking for someone who is versatile and flexible. While the reporting platform is built upon SharePoint and skills are needed to understand developing in that environment. We also will need someone who is strong in ASP.NET, C# and can pickup developing with third party components quickly. SSRS is part of the solution as well so someone who can switch from C# to SSRS easily as needed will be key.

Day to Day Requirements:
- Participate in Daily standup to review daily completions, planned activities, issues.
- Communicate effectively status, plans and issues to ensure we always are on the same page as a team.
- Review functional requirements for new screens/reports and evaluate and design SharePoint/ASP.NET artifacts to resolve them (aspx/ascx/web services/charts/etc)
- Develop in Visual Studio and unit test on development environment.
- Perform integration testing of completed screens in integrated development environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 4-5 years: SharePoint Development Experience - Application Pages, User Controls, Features, and solution packages
- 4-5 years: ASP.NET/AJAX/JQuery - Experience developing web based applications that utilize both server controls and JavaScript/JQuery extensively on the client for a robust end user experience
- 4-5 years: Object Oriented Development - Experience with OO principals and ability to quickly pick up and begin using established design patterns.
- 4-5 years: SQL ServerDatabase - Familiarity SQL and ability to write/read SQL and use to understand data and be self relient on creating data layer items that execute stored procedures.
- 1-2 years: SQL Server Reporting Services - Ideally some experience with SSRS for writing SSRS reports as part of drill down needs. Additionally, experience coding against the Report Viewer control or web services would also be valuable.
- 1-2 years: Third Party Control integration - exposure to integrating 3rd party components into SharePoint. Ideally this would be Telerik and Fusion but experience with others such as Infragistics, Component One and others is translatable.
- 3-4 Years: SharePoint Administration Experience - Understanding of deployment, Central Admin, feature activation, feature scopes and other Admin topics
