Job Description :

Senior SQL DBA


Applicants must have 5+ years of SQL DBA experience in an enterprise level environment.


Company & Group Details of the Senior SQL DBA:

The SQL DBA will work as part of a collaborative team in a fast paced enterprise environment.
The individual will need to be able so guide and advice on project, own requirements planning, have a self-starter mentality while being able to be a team player, and a willingness to work across all areas of business.

Requirements for Senior SQL DBA:

Experience with SQL Server platforms.
Operational knowledge with SQL Servers, performance tuning, and patching.
Deal with existing applications and services in a multi-teared environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work with customers and other technical teams.
Experience within the financial industry.
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field.

Technologies for Senior SQL DBA:

Experience with SQL Server platform, performance tuning, and health check to drive optimal technical utilization.
An understanding MS SQL Server 2008 R2, 2012, 2014, 2016, and Always On SQL Server Technology.
Extensive knowledge with incident tickets, troubleshooting, security, patching and performance tuning.
Strong with installing, patching, upgrading, configuring, maintaining, and backup and recovery.
Powershell scripting, able to read, write, debug, and automate.
Disaster recovery, HA, Security, DB installs and troubleshooting.
