The Test Lead will be responsible for the planning and execution of performance testing to identify, reproduce, and report defects in software, or issues regarding current IT infrastructure. Responsible for creating and performing testing that will ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected (for functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems). • Leads all performance testing. • Plans product unit tests with Functional Team Leads and team members. • Defines and establishes suitable metrics to monitor acceptable performance and provides valuable insight into issues. • Ensures that test design remains within project scope. • Communicates accurate and useful status reports to Systems Team Lead and other management on a timely basis. • Communicates effectively with customers. • Ensures that defined processes are followed. • Provides training to existing staff During the interview, the consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resources experience must also be documented for review and verification. Requirements Strong communication/ leadership skills. Strong influence, collaboration and negotiation experience. Ability to collaborate with supporting resources across business and/or functional lines. Have excellent oral and written skills/possess strong meeting and work session facilitation skills. Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines. Have strong understanding of prioritization stemming from the elicitation of system and/or user requirements. Have excellent organizational skills, proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Must be knowledgeable in the English language/speak clearly and understandably use the English language. Technical Skills: 7+ years of performance testing experience 5 + years using HP load runner for load testing. Knowledge on other tools.
