Project: Team member of the Global Enterprise VoIP infrastructure team responsible for continuous operation and performance of voice network environment to include: operational tasks supporting high availability, rapid recovery and restoration of a complex and large voice network environment. REQUIRED SKILLS: * Bachelors degree or higher strongly preferred in computer science or a related discipline and at least 3 years of experience in all phases of supporting a VoIP telephony environment. * Avaya Certification(s): ACSS, ACS, ACE * 1 to 3 years prior experience with a large enterprise network, preferably in the manufacturing sector. * 1 to 3 years of experience supporting Avaya CM (Communications Manager) VOIP PBX hub and local servers/gateway systems such as s87xx media servers, g700 and g450 media gateways. * 1 to 3 years of experience supporting adjunct voice services including Avaya Modular Messaging, CMS, Meeting Exchange and TDM. * Experience with Avaya call center skills such as vectoring and VDNs. * Experience with voice systems including dial plan configuration and network routing, SIP, and PRI / T1s (ISDN). * Well versed in crisis management and root cause analysis techniques. * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative, global environment. * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. **A person in this role is expected to respond to high impact issues on a 24x7 basis, participate in a rotating on-call schedule with other team members and have the ability to work independently.** * Plus experience: @COMM, Shoretel , Unified Communications (UC), background in data networking, MS Lync Enterprise Voice, Polycom video conferencing * Multi-lingual a plus: Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin Travel is a possibility (5%) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide tier II/tier III support for Avaya voice systems and infrastructure. Perform routine systems maintenance and monitoring of local and remote Avaya systems. Provide leadership in voice network problem determination efforts. Drive process improvements and procedures that will improve overall voice network service delivery to the customer.
