Job Description Consultant: Cisco VoIP, Trouble Shooting PC, Cisco Call Manager, DNS Network Management Tools

General Purpose
Consultant is required to perform the work described below by November 30, 2015. Must be able to be on-site in Portland on April 27, 2015.

The work effort will include on-site and remote planning, lab testing on Company equipment, outage coordination, software and hardware upgrades and any additional deployment work described below on the Companys production network.

During the completion of this engagement Consultant must provide:
1. Drawings that show any changes to currently deployed hardware
2. Successful completion of the work on the Companys production network.
3. Documentation that will allow the Company to support the environment after the work has been completed.
4. Technical knowledge transfer to Companys staff.

Provides Support to the Following Positions
IT management & staff

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Configuration and setup of Cisco PRIME collaboration and provisioning

• Work with Cisco and internal staff to configure environment for operation
• Design, test and implement templates and sites within PRIME provisioning infrastructure to automate building of common telephone types and common move/add/change activities.
• Train internal staff on deployed solution.

2. Advanced support for problem resolution with major voice network outages/disturbances such as voice quality issues, one-way audio, etc.

3. Advanced VoIP and CTI troubleshooting assistance to other engineers between Cisco Call Managers and gateways with other systems including Verint voice call recording, Genesys IVR/ACD suite, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Exchange UM.

4. Specification and design to support remote site voice obsolescence.

5. Plan, execute and monitor major upgrades of Cisco Call Manager infrastructure for multiple clusters (v8 to v9, v9 to v10, etc.).


Performs additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Successfully complete the tasks outlined in this statement of work identified under Primary Job duties and Responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

Two years experience in Cisco voice over IP (VoIP) implementations, upgrades and troubleshooting.

Understands VoIP protocols such as H.323, SIP, MGCP and SCCP in order to help troubleshoot and resolve complex enterprise voice-related problems.

Knowledge of IP routing and switching
