Job Description Developer: SQL Server Reporting Services, Web Application Development, .Net, Silverlight SQL Server 20052008

[Note : This engagement will consist of 37.5 hour work weeks]

Short Description:

The Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.

Complete Description:

is in need of a highly skilled .NET and SQL Server Reporting Services Programmer capable of working with the Bureau of Epidemiologys (EPI) Environmental Public Health Tracking Network (EPHTN) program. The position will collaborate on developing Web based solutions to display the Nationally Consistent Data Measures (NCDMs) for Cancer and work on Portal upgrades. This engagement will be managed by the Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1 (ITGA1) in the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse (BI/DW) section and will be responsible developing reporting and charting objects for Cancer and other NCDMs. This work will be closely coordinated with EPHTN staff who will be responsible unit testing the developed items.

Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

- Develop objects in SQL Server Reporting Services to support the Cancer NCDMs

- Assist in developing a master set of pages in.NET/Silverlight for a common look and feel for the EPHT Portal

- Develop Charts and detail reports for the Cancer NCDMs

- Work with a set of common queries that serve GIS, reporting and charting objects

- Provide weekly status reports
