Engineer will support a local area network as well as remote users. This involves installation and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and workstations. The candidate will also be involved in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Some responsibilities are: " Design, analysis, project planning, resolve daily operation issues and recommendations for solutions. " Build servers by providing technical configuration, setup, installation services, hardware and coordination of application projects. " Deployment and configuration of software such as Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008 Server, IIS Server 6.0/7.0, SQL Server 2005/2008, .NET Framework and Hyper-V servers. " Support programming changes during quality assurance, user acceptance testing and post implementation to ensure integrity of application. " Operate and support tools such as Visual Studio, Team Explorer, TopTeam Client, IIS Admin Pro, Antenna House, DevExpress and Beyond Compare. " Install, configure and maintain networking hardware such as IOS based Catalyst LAN Switches, Wireless Access Points and management infrastructure, routers, ASA Firewall and VPN, etc. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS " Microsoft operating systems including Server 2003/2008 " Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of networking infrastructure and protocols " 5+ years professional experience in system or network administration PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS " Bachelors degree in a computer science discipline " 10+ years professional experience in system or network administration   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
