Job Description Administrator: Oracle 11g/12, SQL, Database Administration, J2EE IBM Websphere Oracle RAC. Golden Ga

Description:


The client requires the services of one Database Administrator, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSAC Database Administrator2Category,Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the client.


Required Skills:


* Experience in Database Administration / Database Design & Development using Oracle 11 / Oracle 12 databases in an enterprise-class environment. Experience must include creating/evaluating/documenting logical and physical data models, developing stored procedures/triggers/scripts/SQL and optimizing/tuning SQL in enterprise-class production and development/test environments.
* Experience in logical design and physical design, and data modeling in support of Java (J2EE) and IBM WebSphere based enterprise applications
* Demonstrated experience leading efficiency improvements and implementation of DB policies and procedures.
* Proven experience in Oracle RAC, Golden Gate, ASM,RMAN, Grid Control, data pump, Data Guard, Standby databases for versions 11G and 12C.
* Proven record of successful design and implementation and support of High Availability Configurations including RAC and Dataguard.
* Experience implementing patching and bug fixes for clustering and standalone databases.
* Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a closely related field.
* Managing and supporting large (multiple terabyte) Oracle 11/12 databases in enterprise-class production environment
* Knowledge of Agile methodology
* Proactively collaborate with team members to design and implement elegant technical solutions.


Desired Skills:


* Experience with Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) and Business Intelligence tools including IBM Datastage/Informatica and/or OBIEE, IBM/Cognos.
* Oracle Certified Professional DBA certification.
