TWC may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. TWC will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). TWC is currently running a mission-critical client-server application, TWIST, on core components that are significantly past end-of-life. This application currently runs on EA Server 5.3 running Power Builder 11.5 code with a Sybase 15.0.3 backend. TWC plans to migrate this application, along with existing functionality to TWCs more modern JBoss WAS running Java 6.0 with a DB2/LUW backend. Significant business processes & functionality improvements are expected as a natural by-product of this migration, with additional business improvements incorporated as time permits. Worker(s) will augment and work under the direction of TWCs Workforce Systems technical team to develop Test Cases, lead or participate in all phases, including but not limited to functional, cross-functional & accessibility testing, of Test Execution and Defects Management, identify additional un-documented test cases and resolve related technical and business issues, including data conversion. Worker(s) will develop, publish, and implement test plans, as well as write and maintain test automation, including development and maintenance of automated test scripts for project. Provide status reports for System Test and User Acceptance Test efforts. The TWC team will utilize HP ALM/UFT tools and Selenium for the test effort. Other duties include: • Work with TWC Business and Systems Analysts, SMEs (Subject Matter Experts), Enterprise Architect(s) and Quality Assurance to support and migrate a complex, business rules-intensive legacy system to a web-based application. • Mentor other junior Business and System Analysts as requested. • Works closely with the end user and/or customer in driving through user acceptance testing (UAT) of new software and system deliverables while providing visibility into end-to-end product quality. • Leads defect Triage process with project team. • Create, modify, and maintain Test data required for testing. Required Skills: * Experience with HP ALM/QC & HP AGM tool, as well as ability to plan and complete test-related goalsindependently while performing a variety of complicated tasks. * Experience in QA & Testing Methodologies, Test Management and Test Data Management * Test Management experience with responsibility for management of test resources. * Experience in developing, scheduling, and executing test plans as well as compiling, analyzing, and distributing results. * Demonstrated experience writing complex SQL scripts for DB2 & Sybase. * Expertise on certifying application for Accessibility using WAVE, NVDA & JAWS. * Experience with coordinating User Acceptance Test (UAT) with business and end users.
