JOB SUMMARY Assists the Statewide Multifactor Authentication (MFA) Program Manager with the development, implementation and deployment of a Statewide Multifactor Authentication solution and any related technologies and services, such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign On (SSO). Responsible for the overall technical implementation development & support of the MFA solution and its associated processes. The individual in this role will be focused on assisting the State and its customers (State Agencies) with adoption of an approved MFA solution and potentially assisting with the integration of these functions across the State. Integration activities will cover a wide array of services including areas such as federation, access management, authentication & authorization, security, single sign on (SSO) and potentially provisioning identity data. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Strong technical skills, project management and technical writing ability will be necessary. This role will be providing technical assistance with customer adoption of MFA solutions and will need strong technical skills to understand and integrate MFA with IAM processes across the State. May be required to architect solutions for customers that have an existing MFA solution and/or those who do not. The ability to understand cloud environments and make strong recommendations for securing on-premise and cloud environments will be required. Solid understanding and experience with O365 and active directory will be required. Must be able to work with disparate IAM processes and workflow across a diverse customer base within the frameworks that customers use to include but not limited to TAC 202, NIST, and the Agency Security Plan. Will be required to provide briefings with leadership and technical teams that will be utilizing the MFA solution. Will be required to thoroughly document processes and provide white papers and step-by-step instructions and assistance for MFA implementation. EDUCATION • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in information technology security, computer information systems, computer science, management information systems, or a related field • Additional years of experience may be used to substitute for each year of formal education. (High School diploma or equivalent certificate required.)
