Required Skills: * Experience with PowerPoint, Word, advanced Excel, SharePoint, and other MS Office applications * Experience with software/ERP Project Coordination or Management, including all aspects of planning for operationalization of system(s) * Demonstrated ability to establish work groups within an organization and work effectively toward a common goal with individuals who have varying skills and are from different departments and levels within the organization; ability to collaborate across all levels of employment hierarchy and organizational areas * Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and facilitate groups of people from different organizations to achieve a common goal * Demonstrated ability to listen to new and complex ideas and information and quickly determine how to apply the new information to a rapidly evolving plan * Experience with developing plans with incomplete information for systems that are relatively new in the market and for which operational best practices are not yet clear; ability to adapt the plans as the project progresses and lessons are learned * Experience with performing detailed analysis and making data-driven decisions by gathering and using data to support decision making * Advanced interpersonal skills; adept at quickly developing healthy relationships and ascertaining how to work with a variety of individuals at all levels in order to achieve a plan that is acceptable to all parties * Ability to apply creative problem solving to a variety of challenges similar to what will be faced in planning for the operationalization of the new systems and components that will be implemented as UT Austin moves from mainframe-based components and systems to cloud software solutions and new technical architecture and methods * Comfortable taking on high levels of responsibility for project deliverables and solutions * Experience with successfully making recommendations to change leadership and project executive leadership; willing to propose difficult solutions * Leadership and facilitation skills and experience; ability to capture key elements in brainstorming sessions, generate group member direction, and lead group to define and achieve goals * Experience with working independently with minimal supervision; ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks and directional changes under short and firm deadlines * Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation, and presentation skills * Bachelors degree or equivalent work-related experience Desired Skills: * Experience working in a large, public higher-education institution * Planning experience with UT Austins administrative systems environment * Operational planning experience with Workday HCM, Absence, Time, Talent, Financials, Payroll, especially on a Big Bang implementation; * Operational planning experience with the Cornerstone on Demand LMS * Operational planning experience with Project Standards and Methodologies and/or new Technical Architecture Components * Experience in establishing a training unit or sustainment organization (ongoing operational support) * Experience working with The University of Texas * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
