Reviews information systems, performs maintenance work, and identifies and documents all quality related issues. Creates and executes various testing documentation (including plans, conditions, and scripts) based on technical and user requirements. Performs system-wide/cross-functional team management. Provides ultimate direction for projects. Plans and manages implementation and integration of new technologies. Is responsible for solving highly technical and complex problems on multiple projects, and providing consultative support to internal staff. This is the highest level individual contributor role. Acts as a mentor to testers. Education/Experience o Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field required o 5-7 years experience required Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills o Ability to work independently and manage ones time o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures o Test system modifications to prepare for implementation o Develop testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability o Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers o Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content o Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes o Create or maintain databases of known test defects o Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
