The Project is Enterprise Information Governance - To establish, support and mature the Information Governance framework, policies, standards and data stewardship working groups. Statement: Under direction of the Data Governance Director, the Sr Data Governance Analyst will focus on furthering the maturation of information governance and oversight activities to help develop and/or refine: - Corporate information management standards and policies - Operational governance framework - Information stewardship program - Streamlining of information management practices The Sr Data Management / Data Strategy Analyst.will be fully engaged with the current Data Governance team, IT, and Business stakeholders, utilizing them as subject matter experts, while applying Information Management best practices, industry standards and work experiences to derive specific solutions and outcomes. The individual will research, synthesize and analyze the current state of the Information Management governance program, to formulate new or enhanced strategies, processes and deliverables. The individual will furthermore vet resulting proposals with management, make necessary changes, and seek the necessary approvals prior to implementation. Additional responsibilities include: - Determining and documenting applicable development tasks and communicating same to those accountable for specific tasks - Developing and tracking milestones and reporting on progress against milestones on a regular (weekly) and ad-hoc basis - Managing issues and risks - Obtaining management approvals - Working with the Data Governance Director to negotiate any occurrence of change - Managing project kick-off and close out activities - Managing successful completion of project objectives - Managing the project team, resources, and supporting processes, as required - Coordinating interactions with IT, Business partners, and data stewards Deliverables include developing and/or enhancing: - Information governance model and framework - Information Strategy - Information Management policy - Information Management standards - Supporting presentations, white papers, artifacts, meeting minutes and action items Skill level: Senior (7+ yrs) Skills: - Experience with information governance strategies and principles - Experience with information management principles and best practices - Experience with information management program/project setup and operations - Experience with information management strategy, policy, and standards - Experience with leading, facilitating and standing up new data governance organizations - Experience with projects involving change management to support user roll-out and adoption - Desired knowledge of the secondary mortgage markets - Be organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven - Able to handle multiple tasks/issues in a fast-paced environment with quick turn-around - Strong analytical and research skills - Good written and verbal communication skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
