There are a lot of databases and ETL workflows to refactor. · They need to take each database and restructure it so that the database will scale better and use a secure data source. Day to Day: Both roles working together... · Identify any OS Commands used in ETL processes. · Understand existing code. Write some test cases. · Create a new ETL template without refactoring code. Sr. SQL Developer Analyst will analyze T-SQL code. · Performance tuning of ETL process and underlying database · SQL query optimization for stored procedures within the ETL. · Make recommendations regarding indexing and SQL statistics. · Develop T-SQL code test scripts and perform data verifications. · Identify performance bottlenecks within the existing T-SQL code. · Compose test cases for unit testing, integration, and UAT testing. Tech Stack: · SQL Server 2016 on-premises · SQL Server 2019 for ETL (maybe) · Since 2019 points to production · SSIS for the ETL processes · Erwin for data modeling Qualifications: • BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
