VASE+ is an appointment scheduling and clinic management solution system that is highly intuitive and configurable designed to support the vaccine administration workflow VASE+ Key Capabilities • Complete registration online • Onsite walk-in registration • Option to register residents for future clinics directly in VASE+ • Onsite vaccine administration • Easy second dose appointment onsite or online • Personalized clinics link for easier scheduling • Integration with VIIS • API Capabilities • Option for call center to collect additional demographic data • Vaccine Master and Vaccine Lots: Provides the ability to enter the available vaccines and maintain the lot numbers received • Vaccine Lot Setup: Allows the ability to associated vaccines to specific clinics • Reports: Ability to view clinic details, files uploaded, vaccine recipients who are yet to make an appointment and clinic vaccination summary • Administration: Which allows the ability to add and update user roles and permissions to the system • Upload Data: Allows the ability to upload residents and associate them to a particular site (or) clinic to schedule an appointment via a push notification General Job Description: Works as part of the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Information Management (OIM) team and plan, coordinate, develop, implement the above assignments/tasks. Specific Task(s): • Developing Required Interfaces or make changes to the existing interfaces. • Develop security for all the new screens and integrate with existing roles and application rules. • Work with business to receive feedback throughout the development cycle. • Unit test all the changes with proper test cases. • Thoroughly document/test all changes. • Work on on high-level enhancements and production support for VASE + (Vaccine Appointment Scheduling Engine). Required Experience and Skill Set: Professional experience working with Web based applications using Oracle as the backend is required. In-depth knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming and Javascript or Jquery is required. Experience in APEX and HTML is required. Experience in Web PLSQL Tool Kit is highly desirable. Strong background and work experience in developing true web applications are necessary. Knowledge in software development and installation, change management, and testing. Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills required. Good oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously. Must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes. Five or more years of work experience is required in Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming.
