Job Description Consultant: HR Data, Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Fast-Paced Environment, Problem Solving Skills Process Improveme

Description:

The Human Resources Generalist will support the Director, Human Resources who leads the Employment Practices COE in Plano Texas. This is a 6 month contract opportunity to help build and refine both process and best practices for conducting internal investigations. The successful individual will partner with Functional Leaders (COEs) with Human Resources to gather data & information to support the development of both strategy, process and learning capabilities for both HR and various business groups.

Responsible for the following:

Support the HRD to create and develops best in class employment practices strategies to address employee relations issues in the organization

Researches, designs and implements best in class practices in new Employment Practices COE to advance effective investigations, stakeholder engagement, and program and policy implementation

Develops policies, procedures and programs to promote fair and efficient performance issues and reductions in force, in order to reduce legal risks.

Utilizes and leverages data and analysis in the identification of emerging and progressive employee relations trends and practices

Provides industry thought leadership in employee relations to further best practices and progressive employee relations problem solving and solutions

Ensure that HR systems and trackers are kept current

Provide guidance and training to supervisors and managers on employee relations issues, as well as help them navigate more complex issues that arise

Collaborate with COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management/ L&D) in the design and implementation of Employment Practices Programs.

SKILLS:

Bachelors degree with 10+ years of HR and/or HRBP experience in roles of increasing complexity and scope.

Extensive knowledge of U.S. Federal, state and local employment laws and trends.

Thorough understanding of U.S. EEO and Affirmative Action Plans, processes and procedures

Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are common

Analytically driven, you are experienced utilizing qualitative and quantitative approaches to problem solving and root cause analysis. Strong aptitude to translate metrics and data-driven insights into actionable strategy

A passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement

Exceptional communication and relationship building skills. Highly collaborative style and desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
