As the DEPARTMENT operates licensing functions for all of Washington States drivers and vehicles and many licensed business professionals, it is critical to modernize these computer systems and databases to remove the risk of failure, and impact to the states revenue collection. This revenue provides a significant portion of revenue that supports mission critical public safety functions such as law enforcement access to critical driver identification data. The modernization will also result in the agencys ability to better respond to legislative mandates and adapt to future transportation funding models. *Required Skills: *Ability to facilitate and lead the analysis and documentation of functional and non-functional business requirements including: the preparation and confirmation of business rules; the analysis of current and proposed business processes, business models and requirements statements. *Experience documenting requirements so they are understandable by business and technical experts. *Hands on experience documenting scope, business requirements and system requirements for COTS products. *Ability to perform gap analysis using business process diagrams, data models, and requirements. *Experience negotiating and bringing groups to consensus or resolution concerning areas of conflict or ambiguity. *Experience assembling information from a variety of sources to recognize business relevant connections and missing pieces. *Ability to develop and execute complex test scripts.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
