Job Description Developer: ASP.Net, C#, MS SQL Server 2005/2008,

Description :
Client seeks a resource with professional application development experience in C# .Net and ASP.Net for web applications. This resource will work on the Service, Knowledge & Information Exchange (SKIES) Technology Upgrade (STU) project. This resource will work with the project team to build and implement the application for approximately a 12 month period.

Scope of Work :
ESD/Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) is currently working to upgrade the existing SKIES application. ESD is seeking a senior level developer highly experienced, and possessing .Net and C# web application development skills to assist with this project. This resource will work closely with the project application architect, technical QA, business analysts and other developers. The application architect will provide direction and assign tasks to be completed during each two week iteration/sprint, and follow up to ensure tasks are being completed according to schedule and contributing to the expected outcomes. The resource will assist on site on a full time basis for the Contract period. An office space and the necessary equipment and access will be provided to assist the resource in accomplishing the tasks set forth in this Work.

Responsibilities :

* Participate in regular project team meetings and follow the established methodology standards
* Follow ESD standards in implementing all work
* Develop application functionality using C#, .Net for web applications
* Document work as per project standards
* Actively participate in stand up meetings, functional reviews, and demos
* Utilize TFS for source control and incident management
* Adhere to all process and development standards
* Provide status as requested
* Demonstrate respectful communications and behavior

Required Skills :

* Extensive professional software development experience with C# and ASP.NET (ASP.NET 3.5/4.0 preferred) for web applications
* Proficiency in Object Oriented Design and Architecture
* Professional experience with MS SQL Server (SQL Server 2008 is a plus)

Desired Skills :

* Professional experience in Microsoft Reporting Services
* Oracle forms and reports
* Using TFS for source control and incident management
