Description:

Client is seeking a senior skill level contractor staff .NET Developer to assist with the development and testing of a new reporting and e-payment system utilizing Microsoft .NET/SQL technologies, and to assist with the migration of the current clients systems, in conjunction with other clients team members.

Client anticipates that the current system will be used as an initial template for the new system design and that the new system will include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Composed of Classic ASP and C#.NET internal facing administrative functions
• Connected to a SQL database
• Receive customer data from internet web forms
• Receive Business License Information from the Department of Revenue
• Include an e-payment system interfaced to Bank of America and the Washington State Treasurer.
• SharePoint 2010 platform where appropriate for internal and external systems.

Responsibilities:

* Develop a new solution in a Microsoft .NET/SQL environment and SharePoint 2010 platform, while integrating with legacy Classic ASP and SQL 2003 applications and data.
o Apply Lean/Agile methods and advanced technical knowledge to evaluate and develop a solution (applications, interfaces and relational databases), and execute quality assurance testing and performance.
* Provide design, development, installation, testing, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and/or problem resolution tasks for this clients mission-critical business application(s) development.
* Develop and deliver advanced technical materials to document system changes, including but not limited to the following:
o User documentation
o Support and Reference materials
o Technical specifications
o Communications
o Training materials
* Provide user training and knowledge transfer to clients technical support staff.
* Provide status reporting – provide a daily status report to the clients core team lead, to include the status of all assigned tasks (hours worked, issues, concerns, etc.).
