Retail and Core Technology Services (RaCTS) is a 300+ person department within the Technology organization. This team overseas the Data Centers, Corporate and Retail Networks, Point of Sale (POS), Payment Systems, Cloud Services, DevOps, Enterprise Tools, Enterprise Help Desk and much more. This $150m group has a significant amount of financial work invoice processing and vendor financial management. This position is to assist our existing Finance Manager as well as cover for additional administrative workload.



Business Group and Key Projects:

Will help offset workload ongoing and upcoming projects for the team
Reporting to directly to hiring manager
This team has a really good work/ life balance; there is some team members that work OT but not for this role
This person will help retail projects by opening capital projects for stores. This is a manual process performed for each store.

Typical Day in the Role:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Facilitates the ongoing success of various projects via order creation and data entry tasks.
Facilitates and monitors the processing of data integrity across multiple systems in support of the business unit decisions.
This positions primary duties will to perform data entry in excess of our teams ability to process and in-service Capital initiative projects.
This role will work in data entry in our proprietary Capital Management systems.
There will also be light financial work around processing invoices and purchase requests.
Ensures effective ongoing communication throughout various projects.
Meets with key managers to coordinate meetings, assignments and deadlines.
Communicates changes to appropriate parties.
Identifies issues and resolves or escalates them as appropriate.
May participate in any phase of the project cycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training and closure.
May represent business unit, department or functional area on cross-functional project teams.
Tracks progress towards achievement of project goals. Maintains project documentation and prepares activity reports on the projects status, timeline and budgets.
Processes invoices to ensure that vendor invoices are being submitted on time, allocated to the correct budget and paid in a timely fashion.
Identifies areas for process improvement, makes recommendations



Candidate Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with outside vendors
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel in a (vlookups and pivots tables are nice to haves)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and focus to see problems through resolution
Knowledge of concepts, techniques and tools relating to coordinating and tracking projects
Very high levels of accuracy. High capacity for excessive data entry. Ability to multitask in a frequently ambiguous setting.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly
Ability to deliver excellent customer service
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to organize large volumes of data for compilation, analysis and
