He or she will be responsible for working with the business to document business requirements and provide domain expertise for changes to technology or business applications. Supporting the program communication and organization, including business case development and solution decision analysis. The candidate will work with the Systems Analysts and development team to ensure that they understand the business requirements and with training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted and help develop a change management / training plan. The candidate will continually grow knowledge of supported business, technology and product areas to have clear understanding of current / future business and technology requirements. Required Skills: * Become an operational subject matter expert on several key processes spanning multiple teams with many stakeholders to coordinate and update with improvements. * Serve as liaison between technology and business end-users. * Responsible for Business Process analysis, documentation and re-engineering. * Identify, assess, define and document business requirements, recommending business priorities and advising business on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions. * Models the user interaction flow and business processes (As-Is and To-Be) * Conduct quantitative (operations) analysis. * Develops user interface design specifications (i.e., business use cases, usage scenarios). * Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible. * Help analyze impact of proposed solution on existing technology platforms. * Provide input to buy vs. build decision based on input received from the business and other functions within technology. * Develop formal business cases for projects. * Help translate business requirements into functional specifications with Systems Analysts. * Work with Developers to clarify any questions with Business Requirements. * Assist testing team to ensure that requirements documentation can be easily translated into test plans, and ensure that the proper testing plans have been completed. * Builds training plans. Completes detailed training plan and coordinates training activities with Operations subject matter experts. * Facilitate implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation. * Communicate internally and through-out the larger network on business processes and solutions. Gather input and share best practices. * Provide input into project / resource estimating activities. * Identify and communicate risks to delivering solution on time. * Investigate and model business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using methodical and consistent techniques. * Identify and assess options for the implementation of new or improved business processes and present them, with recommendations, to decision makers at senior management level. * Apply data analysis and data modeling techniques. Provides advice and guidance to Systems Analysts, database designers and others using the data structures and associated components.
