Starbucks Production Controller (SPC) product, under Strategic POS umbrella, is viewed as an enabler for Technology solutions within Starbucks that are capacity accelerators. As a result, there are many feature enhancements requested for SPC product. Given the team size, desired timeline and ongoing work, we need additional help on the team in the application development area on big enhancements such as Production Sequencing, SPC Core stabilization, SPC-DOM integration, SPC rollout etc. What does a typical work day entail? What are the daily tasks/responsibilities/deliverables? Three CWs in their App Dev Sr capacity will be performing following functions and responsible for timely quality deliveries: 1. Participate in Design and Solution conversations 2. Code with quality and follow engineering standards 3. Perform code review and provide feedback on improvement 4. Write Unit tests and improve code coverage on existing code 5. Write integration tests 6. Deploy code to Azure using CI/CD pipeline, install code on test devices as needed 7. Actively participate in daily standup and meeting 8. Do manual test to understand the system end to end 9. Understand the requirements and provide solution proposals 10. Pick up next stories on priority without waiting for someone to assign the task 11. Collaborate and work with team in harmony without sacrificing on the candid/constructive feedback 12. Work with Product managers to understand the requirements before jumping into solutions 13. Always think how to accelerate/optimize the delivery without sacrificing the quality of the product 14. Provide Support for the product when needed What are the must/nice to have skills you are looking for in this CW? Technical Skills: 1. Proficient in C# .Net, .Net Framework 3.5 and above, .Net Core 2. Solid understanding of Service Fabric cluster and how applications work in that framework 3. Experience in Container Management is a plus 4. Experience working in applications that are hosted in Azure 5. Strong in Object Oriented programing 6. Experience in applying proper Design Patterns based on the situation 7. Experience in REST API as a Developer as well as a consumer 8. Solid troubleshooting skills are must. Soft Skills: 1. Go getter and can-do attitude 2. Good communication skills, spoken as well as written 3. Ability to quickly switch context to respond to emergencies 4. Ability to collaborate and work in small startup type team environment 5. Once up-to speed on code base, ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues on their own. We do not want someone who will sandbag the team with constant queries on how to resolve the issue. We have a small team and do not have luxury of time. 6.
