Description :

The business analyst/change agent works with the executive sponsor, physician champions, operational leaders, project manager and other Client leaders to develop and implement strategies to manage the organizational change associated with system implementation. The individual performing this role should have significant work experience in clinical and operational practices and be a respected member of the organizations management team. The change agent reports to the executive leadership team. This role is most effective when aligned with correctional institutions Health Services Unit operations instead of the information technology (IT) department. This individual coordinates the project team with the learning team to ensure the governance structure, communication matrix and change management plan is executed.

Business Analyst/Consultant 3 (Change Agent)

Business Analyst/Consultant capabilities with 8 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Independently, performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Description:
The change agent works with the executive sponsor, physician champions, operational leaders, project manager and other Client leaders to develop and implement strategies to manage the organizational change associated with system implementation. Tasks:
• Work with Client and project leadership to develop a comprehensive plan for organizational transformation and to coordinate the transformation plan with all other EMR system project activities
• Assist Vendor and Client project leadership in profiling and risk analysis
• Coordinate organizational kick-off events in conjunction with the project manager
• Orient Vendor project leadership on existing and planned performance improvement programs and work to integrate these programs into the project plan and tasks
• Work with the communications team lead to identify key stakeholder groups and ensure the communication strategy meets their information needs
• Work with operational and clinical leadership to develop and implement a clinician engagement strategy
• Lead gap analysis and change management activities including job impact analysis and policy and procedure analysis
• Support business case development and on-going values measurement
• Serve as the project management teams subject matter expert on organizational culture and processes

Qualifications needed:
• Ability to create review and update existing policies and procedures, comparing them to vendor solution so that gaps can be identified
• Ability to manage issues and their escalation
• Understands organization culture and process
• Ability to define and implement strategies for organizational change
• Ability to lead workgroups
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Ability to develop change/training plans
• Ability to develop and lead/coordinate training efforts
• Experience with online collaboration/community resources
• Communication planning
