The candidate will be a strong technical leader working on BI Report development and Data Integration projects, gathering & documenting requirements, performing analysis, designing solutions to meet business objectives, developing specifications, developing universes and reports using SAP Business Objects, developing ETL mappings using Informatica PowerCenter, testing, and implementing solutions. Understand user requirements and implement solutions that ensure requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables. Seek continuous improvement in performance & tuning and ensure security of data. Proven methodology experience for complex systems integration projects and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget. Work with other IT technical teams and Business users to understand requirements and recommend & implement solutions. Work with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment performing a variety of complex tasks. Requires advanced skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline. Typically requires 7 - 9 years experience or equivalent education. Ideal candidate will have experience designing BI solutions, development experience in SAP Business Objects and Informatica PowerCenter DW & BI Knowledge areas: 1. Data warehouse/data marts design and development using Kimball & Inmon methodologies 2. SAP Business Objects universe and report design/development - V 4.1 3. Crystal Reports 4. Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server 5. Infoburst 6. Informatica PowerCenter V10.1 7. Dimensional Data Modeling - Star Schemas 8. Slowly Changing Dimensions 9. Requirements gathering and documentation 10. Test plan development and testing execution 11. Project development life cycle process (i.e., planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, support 12.
