This developer will work as part of a team to develop and enhance applications using web technologies such as ASP.net MVC and databases such Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2. As a .NET Web Developer II, the incumbent will work directly with lead technical staff to design, code, test, and implement new and existing web applications. The .NET Web Developer II designs, develops, and implements web-based applications using .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, bootstrap) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript). Performs development of front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (webservices). Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires a bachelors or associates degree in area of specialty or 3 -4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Code is closely monitored by senior tech leads.
