The position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager in Marketing Communications (MarCom). The position conducts market research and uses a customer relationship management (CRM) system for marketing automation and email communications. The salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities 100% Salesforce CRM/Pardot Marketing Automation • Plan and implement marketing automation, email communications and drip campaigns in Pardot/Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) system. • Update and maintain Pardot/Salesforce recipient lists, engagement programs, and forms. • Build and streamline segmented, multi-touch communication flows to drive requests for information, applications, event attendance, campus visits, and enrollment. • Design and proof emails to ensure consistent formatting, mobile-friendly design, appropriate voice and tone, and impeccable grammar. • Evaluate performance of email campaigns, using A/B testing when helpful, to continuously improve open rates, click-through rates, and other engagement metrics. • Use the Google Analytics suite and other data collection tools to monitor campaign performance and provide reports to various units as needed. • Create dashboards, reports, and provide data analysis, including multi-touch attribution modeling to determine campaign effectiveness. • Provide Pardot training to other users as needed Knowledge/Skills and Abilities Minimum • Self-starter with experience in digital marketing, research, CRM management, web development, or related field. • Strong communication skills, which are clear, effective and sensitive, whether in person, by telephone or in writing. • Proven excellent organizational and time management skills • Strong critical thinking skills when conducting research and drawing conclusions. Preferred • Experience in market research with the ability to research a variety of topics through online and offline channels. • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) system, such as Salesforce. • Familiarity with content management system (CMS), such as Drupal. • Project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects on multiple marketing channels.
