Primary Responsibilities . Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the SAN environment. . Resolves SAN performance issues. . Plans for growth (capacity planning). . Installs new software releases, upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. . Monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity (alert logs, trace files, etc). . Applies policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the environment. . Submits change requests approved by management. . Writes recommendations to known problems. . Helps Systems Administrator Team to identify and document weaknesses in design and process. . Helps Systems Administrator Team research technical issues. . Creates and executes test plans. . Creates project plans. . Mentors other team members. . Analyzes and resolves end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion. .
